Motorcycles were not included in the first provincial law of 1906, and are not known to have been added in subsequent amendments of 1909 and 1911, although it cannot be ruled out. Province-issued motorcycle plates began in 1912 at the same as passenger and other plates. The 1912 motorcycle plates bear a provincial crest. 146 motorcycles were registered in 1912, and the highest known 1912 motorcycle plate is #130.
