1918 - 1939/40, 1967-73; #25001 1940/41 - 1966, #10001 1974-80.
Numbers in bold are highest listed in state archives. 1930 plate
issued for 6 months to 6/30/30. Farm Truck plates began 1934/35
ony for trucks up to 1 1/2 tons, replacing most regular "A" trucks.

Chapter 320, passed 6/28/1923, set new truck fees according to gross weight
instead of capacity. This law took effect 7/1/1923 (enforced 8/1/1923),
requiring all trucks to re-register if more money was owed. The new fee
was 75% of the new annual rate, less the fee already paid; no refunds given.
Old plates were to be returned after receiving the new ones. About 20% of
all trucks (approximately 6,000) had to re-register, all in the D, E and F
classes. 28,536 trucks were registered from 1/1/1923 to 6/30/1923. New
registrations for trucks less than 3 tons were issued A, B and C plates.
